Quanesha Johnson is a bold mental health advocate, dynamic educator, and the visionary behind BTG Counseling and Educational Services and the nonprofit Yes We Go to Therapy. As a Licensed Therapist, Certified K–12 Classroom Teacher, and School Counselor in Pennsylvania, Quanesha brings over 20 years of experience at the powerful intersection of mental health and education.

Whether she’s leading a workshop for school staff, guiding a therapy session, or leading a parent workshop, Quanesha leads with compassion, cultural responsiveness, and real-world insight. She’s on a mission to break the stigma around mental health, especially in communities that have long been underserved and underrepresented. Her work is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves access to healing, support, and the tools to thrive.

Quanesha’s engaging and collaborative style helps her create safe, affirming spaces, whether in classrooms, conference rooms, or community centers. She brings her clinical and educational expertise to schools, universities, and organizations across the country, offering thought provoking and actionable sessions on topics like Trauma-Informed Care, Burnout Prevention, Conquering Imposter Syndrome, and The Impact of Social Media on Youth.

Her thought leadership has been featured in The Washington Post, News One, Best Colleges, and Pop Sugar and WFMZ-69News.

Outside of her professional life, Quanesha is a wife and mom of three who enjoys long walks,  reading up on all things mental health, and volunteering in her community. She proudly serves  on the African American Business Leader Council, WBEC-East’s RISE Philly,  and she is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women in Business  Program.
