Christina Schoemaker is a strategic leader dedicated to empowering vulnerable populations. As the Senior Vice President of Advancement for Valley Youth House, Christina leads revenue generation, public relations, and communications for a nationally recognized nonprofit serving over 20,000 individuals annually across Eastern Pennsylvania. Under her leadership, the organization has reached unprecedented financial heights, raising more than $145 million in private and public revenue to fund critical housing, prevention, and intervention services. A Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), Christina is a selected speaker for the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), her alma maters, and volunteer associations. Valley Youth House earned prestigious accolades, including the 2024 Leonard Pool Community Impact Award from Air Products and the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley and the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber’s first-ever Excellence in Business Award for a nonprofit.

Her career is defined by a commitment to excellence, recognized early on when she was named an AFP Chamberlain Scholar, a Women’s Business Council Scholarship Recipient, and one of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s “Finest Under 40.” Christina’s influence extends deep into the community. She serves as Second Vice President of the Women United Cabinet and as a member of the Tocqueville Society for the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley. She serves a Board member for Hospital Central Services and the Business Advisory Council for DeSales University. She is also a member of the Women’s Giving Circle of Good Shepherd Rehabilitation, Tech Heroes for Miller-Keystone Blood Center, and the Women’s Summit Committee for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber. Her board service and committee roles across health, education, and business sectors reflect her belief in the power of cross-sector collaboration to drive social change. Christina holds an MBA in Management and Marketing from DeSales University, a BA in English from The Pennsylvania State University, and an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Lehigh Carbon Community College.

Christina recently became a Certified Sailor from the American Sailing Association. She resides in New Tripoli with her husband, Chris, and their two children, Chloe and Coen, who are currently students at Kutztown University. The family is united by a passion for world travel and global exploration.
