Delia Marrero is a Southside Bethlehem native, writer, Tarot enthusiast, and Executive Director of YWCA Bethlehem. Delia’s journey is one of overcoming obstacles and seizing opportunities—from dropping out of high school to becoming a college graduate as single mom. She now channels her creativity and passion into nurturing community connections and reshaping the norms in all that she does. Delia is the mother of two daughters and the joyful CoCo (abuela) to a vibrant, bubbly grandson.

Her approach to work and life is shaped by the legacy of her grandfather, Ismael García—a Bethlehem Steel worker and founding member of the Puerto Rican Beneficial Society—and the tenacity and vivacious spirit of her grandmothers, Delia García and Yolanda Rivera. Their strength and joy continue to guide her, weaving healing, imagination, and storytelling through all she shares and creates.
