Kim E. Fraites-Dow

CEO, Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania

Kim E. Fraites-Dow has been CEO for nine years and has held leadership roles at GSEP for fourteen years, helping our Council earn top ten status nationally amongst all 111 Girl Scout councils. She is a Lifetime Member and serves as a National Council Delegate for GSEP and as a Troop Cookie Manager for her daughter’s Cadette Troop. In 2023, Kim was named Philadelphia Magazine’s Trailblazer, an award given to one woman each year in the Philadelphia region who is a well-accomplished leader in their field and has made considerable contributions to her respective peers and community. Kim has also been recognized as a Woman of Distinction by the Lehigh Valley Business Journal and was named one of the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Most Admired CEO’s. Kim is proud to be a volunteer herself, as she serves on the board of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and the Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra, as well as Treasurer of the Pennsylvania Women’s Forum, a committee member for the University of Rochester Women’s Network, and is a member of The Acorn Club, the Forum of Executive Women, and the Sunday Breakfast Club. Her most cherished role is that of mom to Ella, 14 and Elijah, 13.
