Laurie Hackett

Laurie Hackett is Air Products’ Director of Community Relations.     She is actively and enthusiastically engaged as a volunteer and board member with many Lehigh Valley-based nonprofits.  In her role at Air Products, Laurie works in Air Products communities to represent the Higher Purpose of the company and to advance Air Products and its colleagues as true champions of the communities they serve.  Their motto of “Working here. Living here. Giving here” truly speaks to the strong corporate social responsibility of Air Products and the Air Products Foundation here in their global headquarters community as well as communities around the world.

Most recently, Laurie served as the first solo Chair of the 2022 United Way Campaign and raised a record $19.7 million for the Lehigh Valley community.   She hosts a popular NPR radio podcast on WDIY focused on nonprofit leaders called “A Closer Look.”  Laurie is a recipient of the United Way Betsy Torrence Philanthropist of the Year Award, Chamber Athena Award, Girl Scouts Take the Lead Honor, Chamber Volunteer of the Year and others.

She currently serves as Vice Chair of Miller-Keystone Blood Center and Vice Chair of The Century Promise.  She is also an active Board member of Greater Easton Development Partnership as well as on the board of Greater Lehigh Valley United Way, Lehigh Valley Chamber, Founding Co-Chair of Chamber Diversity Collaborative, IronPigs Charities board, and Phantoms Charities board, among others.
