Sam Beedle

Professional Improvisor and Theatre Performer

Samantha (Sam) Beedle is a professional improvisor and theatre performer with over 25 years of stage experience and training. Born and raised in Bethlehem, Sam received her BFA with a focus in Theatre Performance from Montclair State University, and studied improv comedy with the Upright Citizens Brigade in NYC. Sam’s passion for the arts has infused all of her work, including 10 years in corporate sales where her improv and performance experience was a key component to her success, earning her top sales rep of Pennsylvania and national recognition multiple times.

Leaving the corporate world to pursue her love of the arts and community, Sam joined the Touchstone Theatre Ensemble where she is Community Liaison, co-creates original productions (Christmas City Follies), is a Teaching Artist in its award winning Young Playwrights’ Lab program, and leading major creative projects for events like the annual Festival UnBound where she creates unique community events that leave lasting impressions. In addition to this original theatre devising and creation work, Sam is also an improv powerhouse. She currently is an improv coach for the ArtsQuest House Improv Teams, teaches improv as a devising tool to MOravian UNiversity Masters of Fine Arts – Performance creation students, and facilitates corporate workshops focused on using improv techniques to enhance public speaking skill, team building, and the ability to think on your feet. You can watch Sam’s improv performances every second Saturday at SteelStacks, where she performs with her improv group Synced Up.
