Vinessa Pearson

Vinessa Pearson is the Managing Director at Watsvine Consulting LLC, a fractional Chief of Staff consulting firm that delivers exceptional strategy development and strategy execution expertise, creating time and space for executives to innovate. Watsvine Consulting LLC services are force multiplier enabling businesses to pivot and grow at record pace. Vinessa also works full time as the Head, Strategy & Operations within the US Medical Affairs Virology organization at Gilead Sciences. She focuses on several key strategic initiatives including simplification and improvement of operating models, deployment of new capabilities, management of the global budget, and enhancements of the people strategy. Prior to this role, Vinessa worked at Bristol Myers Squibb & Novartis in chief of staff and vendor management roles. Before joining Novartis, Vinessa worked at Johnson & Johnson and Merck & Co. She has over 20 years of experience across the entire value chain of the pharmaceutical industry. Vinessa holds a BS in chemical engineering from Drexel University and a MS in Regulatory Affairs / Quality Assurance. She has a Clinical Development Certification from Temple University, and she has her PMP certification. Vinessa is passionate about running and has completed a half marathon and several 5Ks. She enjoys traveling, cooking and wine tasting, and she lives in Easton, PA with her husband Jesse and they have 5 adult children.
